“So that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience.”

—Colossians 1:10-11

Northland Community Church is privileged to have a community of women dedicated to loving one another and helping each other through the seasons of life we share.

The Women of Ministry component of Northland Community Church is intentionally designed to activate each woman in the area of her faith, her calling, and her gifting. To this end, women are encouraged to become:

Women of FAITH

We want to know, follow, and become more like Jesus as we grow into strong women of faith.

Women of SERVICE

We want to be quick to reach out to one another, the body of Northland Community Church, the Tri-Lakes region, and the world at large offering the freedom Jesus provides.

Women of HOPE

We want to be fearless women who will walk into desperate situations with the tangible message of hope that only Jesus gives.

We believe the most effective way to become like Jesus and reach others with the hope and joy that He offers, is to know each other well. Small groups offer the perfect environment to live life alongside one another and equip each other for the challenges that life throws at us.

Purpose: This women's quilting group is a great way to bridge the generation gap, share stories, build friendships. Explore how God stitches the fabric of our lives with His plans and purposes for our good.

After breaking for the summer, it's time to pull out your sewing machines, choose your favorite fabrics, pick a pattern, and start creating! The PeaceMakers Quilting Group begins again on Saturday morning, September 15th from 9 am - noon in the NCC basement. The group plans to meet through December (exact dates will be announced as we go).

All ladies, all ages, all skill-levels are welcome. Bring a project you're working on or want to start. If you have no idea what to make or how to make it, I will have a quilt pattern and you can start the journey with us. (Please be prepared to have fun and make great friends!) Please see Sheila Smith for any questions.
